This decision was issued by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism on October 28, 2022, with the following main contents:
1. Purpose
- Implement activities to carry out the task of taking care of children, the elderly, and gender equality in the family according to the Work Plan 2022 of the Department of Family.
- Serving the state management of children, the elderly, and gender equality in the family.
- Propagating, disseminating and improving knowledge and skills on child abuse prevention and control for family members, thereby minimizing and limiting child abuse, especially in the family.
- Propagating and raising awareness among family members about gender equality work and promoting the role of the elderly in the family, towards building a prosperous, equal, progressive and happy family.
2. Request
- Ensure consistency, close, regular, and effective coordination among relevant agencies and units in organizing the implementation of propaganda tasks on the mass media.
- The organization of propaganda must reach many audiences; Ensure the capacity, and time according to the plan. Priority is given to propaganda in newspapers and magazines aimed at a wide audience of family officials at all levels, children in the family and women across the country.
Propaganda content should be short, easy to understand, easy to remember and suitable for the majority.
- Activities are organized practically, and economically, ensuring efficiency and quality.
- The communication products of this activity can be used to serve the next communication activities of the family work.
3. Main content
- Organize propaganda on the role of the family in preventing and combating child abuse.
- Organize propaganda on the role of the elderly in the family.
- Organize propaganda on the implementation of gender equality in the family.
4. Form and time of propaganda
- Forms of propaganda: Propaganda on the National Electronic Newspaper; Propaganda news, articles and photos are published in paper and electronic versions of newspapers; The footers of newspapers, magazines, and propaganda articles have the logo of the Family Department and the words "Family Department, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism"….
- Propaganda time: November and December 2022.
5. Implementation organization
Funding for implementation is extracted from the 2022 social security non-business budget of the Family Department, which is provided through the Ministry's Office.
Assign the Family Department, the Department of Planning and Finance, and the Office of the Ministry to coordinate with relevant agencies and units in implementing the activities assigned in the Plan.
Decision 2700/QD-BVHTTDL takes effect from October 28, 2022.
